Derek Vaughan Appointed VP of Marketing at HostMySite.com

Former Walt Disney Company and Affinity Internet executive, Derek Vaughan, has been named Vice President, Marketing at customer service focused .net hosting company HostMySite.com.



Mr. Vaughan brings a wealth of Internet and web hosting experience into his new post, having served at the Walt Disney Company during the dot com boom for such brands as ESPN.com and NASCAR.com. After successfully marketing team accessories during the first concurrent interactive television and Internet ecommerce broadcast for Super Bowl XXXIV, Mr. Vaughan was recruited by startup web hosting company, Affinity Internet, Inc. in the year 2000. Mr. Vaughan was also an owner and partner in web hosting marketing firm, TechPad Agency for the past 2 years.



Mr. Vaughan has also been active in the web hosting press, having written feature articles for PingZine Magazine, The WHIR, sitepoint.com, tophosts.com, hostsearch.com, comparewebhosts.com and acting as Editor of The Hosting News for the past 2 years.
